BunchOApps is a Control Strip Module that lists the most recent applications that have been run. The list of recent applications is retained across restarts. If the application is deleted or otherwise unavailable, it is automatically removed from the list.
You can set certain preferences by selecting the PreferencesÉ menu choice which always appears at the bottom of the recent application menu. BunchOApps can remember from 1 to 25 different recent applications. Use the up and down arrows to specify the number of entries to remember. If you specify a number less than the current size of the list, the oldest entries are forgotten. Check the Clear App List box to empty the list of recent applications.
BunchOApps 1.0 is beta software. This means that I have found most major bugs, but some may still exist. If you find any, please let me know.
Additions planned for future versions:
- remember desk accessories and documents as well as applications
- make entries permanent so that they never rotate out of the list
- manually delete entries from the list
- <your suggestions>
Of course, you need Apple's Control Strip control panel in order to use BunchOApps. BunchOApps is free, but not public domain. You may distribute BunchOApps as long as you do not modify the file and include this README file. Look for more interesting and useful Control Strip modules in the near future.
Enjoy,
